The Holidays are coming! Winter break is closing in upon us! This is the season for hope, joy, and forgiveness!
Welcome to 2nd quarter, 2008! Congratulations! You have found your way to my website! I am so excited that you are in my class and interested enough to go on-line and see what else you can do to become the best student you can possibly be.
This is my fourth year at Saint Paul's Community High School and I couldn't be more pleased to teach anywhere else! Prior to working in Saint Paul I taught at the middle school level in North Minneapolis. Altogether
this is my twelfth year in public education.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME: As you can see, I am an animal lover. This is my 7 year old Boston Terrier named Louise. She was a gift to myself when I graduated with my Master's degree in Teaching from the University of Saint Thomas in 2001. She is an absolute PILL and no one in my family likes her. But she is my baby and she is spoiled!
Many of you know that this is my second career. Immediately after college, I danced professionally with and African Dance Company out East for a number of years, and then created my own professional dance
company for women and young teens.
Now, I have devoted my life to education! I am currently in my Doctorate program at Hamline University. Hopefully you will be able to call me DR. PALMEN by the year 2012.
During this holiday season, please be safe and take care of yourself! Wishes and Hope to you and your families!
